AdaptAI News respects your right to control your data. This page explains how to delete data stored in AdaptAI News and how to revoke access for connected social platforms (including Meta / Facebook and Instagram).
For deletion requests or questions, email umer.jahangier@gmail.com from the address associated with your account.
Option A — Delete in the app (recommended)
- Sign in at https://adapt.ainewspower.com/login
- Open Accounts and disconnect each connected social account (removes encrypted OAuth tokens and stops API access).
- Open Settings → delete the workspace (removes posts, media, members, and connected accounts for that workspace).
- If you belong to multiple workspaces, repeat for each workspace you control, or ask the workspace admin to remove your membership.
Workspace deletion is permanent and cascades to connected accounts, scheduled posts, drafts, and analytics snapshots stored for that workspace.
Option B — Email deletion request
Send an email to umer.jahangier@gmail.com with the subject line:
AdaptAI News Data Deletion Request
Include:
- Your registered email address;
- Workspace name(s) to delete, if known;
- Whether you want full account removal or only specific connected platforms removed.
We will verify ownership and complete deletion within 30 days, typically sooner. You will receive confirmation when processing is finished.
Automatic deletion via Facebook
If you remove AdaptAI News from Facebook Settings and choose to delete your data, Meta notifies our servers automatically. You will receive a confirmation code and can check progress at the status URL returned by our data deletion callback. No extra email is required for that flow.
Revoke Meta (Facebook / Instagram) access
Disconnecting in AdaptAI News removes tokens from our database. You may also revoke the app in your Meta account settings:
- Go to Facebook Settings → Security and Login → Apps and Websites (or Business Integrations).
- Find the AdaptAI News app you authorized.
- Choose Remove / Revoke access.
After revocation, AdaptAI News cannot access your Meta data even if old tokens existed; any remaining copies in our backups are purged according to our retention schedule.
What we delete
- User profile and authentication records (on full account deletion);
- Workspace content: posts, drafts, media metadata, and scheduling data;
- Encrypted OAuth tokens and connected account records;
- Analytics snapshots tied to deleted workspaces.
Audit logs required for security or legal compliance may be retained in anonymized form (actor identifiers nulled) as described in our Privacy Policy.
