AdaptAI News ("we", "us", or "our") operates the AdaptAI News platform at adapt.ainewspower.com (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use the Service, including when you connect social accounts through Meta (Facebook / Instagram), LinkedIn, X (Twitter), or Google (YouTube).

1. Information we collect
- Account data: name, email address, password hash, workspace membership, and billing status when you register.
- Connected platform data: OAuth tokens (encrypted at rest), connected account identifiers, page/profile metadata, and permissions you grant during authorization.
- Content you create: drafts, scheduled posts, media uploads, captions, and publishing history within your workspace.
- Analytics data: engagement metrics retrieved from connected platforms on your behalf.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, audit logs, and operational logs needed to secure and operate the Service.
2. How we use information
We use collected information to:
- Provide scheduling, publishing, and analytics features you request;
- Maintain encrypted OAuth credentials and refresh tokens for connected accounts;
- Send transactional emails (verification, password reset, invitations, notifications);
- Process subscription payments through Stripe;
- Detect abuse, enforce access controls, and maintain audit trails;
- Improve reliability and support of the Service.
3. Meta / Facebook platform data
When you connect Facebook or Instagram, we receive data only as permitted by the permissions you approve in the Meta login dialog. We use this data solely to operateAdaptAI News features (publishing, insights, account management) and do not sell platform data to third parties. We store access tokens encrypted with AES-256-GCM. You may disconnect accounts at any time from Accounts in the app, which stops further API access using stored tokens.
4. Sharing and disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with subprocessors that help us operate the Service (hosting, email delivery, payment processing) under contractual obligations to protect your data. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users and the Service.
5. Retention and security
We retain account and workspace data while your account is active. Encrypted tokens are deleted when you disconnect a social account or delete your workspace. Audit logs may be retained for compliance. We apply industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest for sensitive credentials.
6. Your rights and choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete personal data. To request deletion of your AdaptAI News account and associated data, follow the instructions on our Data Deletion page or email us at umer.jahangier@gmail.com.
7. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above when changes are posted. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
